The following Rules relating to Club Members and Visitors shall apply. The Board of Directors may make amendments, which will be duly notified.

1.    DRESS

a. Members and Visitors are required to conform to the standards of dress both on the course and in the clubhouse.
b. The dress requirements for both the course and clubhouse are displayed in the foyers of the clubhouse. These are subject to change from time to time but members are advised that their standard of dress should always reflect the propriety of the Club to which they belong.
c. In the absence of the General Manager, the Bar Manager and Bar staff have been directed to ensure that dress standards are maintained in the Clubhouse.

2.   HOUSE

a. The Clubhouse is open for use of members daily, and the Bar opening hours with variation allowing for trade and special occasions, are: —
Monday              11.00 a.m. 
Tuesday             11.00 a.m. 
Wednesday        10.00 a.m.
Thursday            11.00 a.m. 
Friday                 11.00 a.m. 
Saturday             9.00 a.m. 
Sunday               10.00 a.m.

The Clubhouse and course is closed on Christmas Day.

b. Members are asked to support the Club by purchasing from the Bar. Club prices are kept competitive at all times.
c. Social golf parties, trade days, wedding, receptions, birthday parties and social events, are catered for by the Club.   Members should make enquiries from the General Manager.
d. Members and guests under the age of 18 years must comply with the Licensing Laws. Under no circumstance are these members and guests allowed in the restricted areas of the Club.

3. PLAY AND CONDUCT ON THE COURSE

Each member is asked to give close attention to:—
1. The Rules of Golf
2. The etiquette of the Game
3. The Local Rules
4. The Regulations Governing Conditions of Play

a. All matches are played over 18 holes unless otherwise notified.
b. The lowest marker in any group playing on the course is deemed to be responsible for the conduct and etiquette of the group.
c. A player, on losing his ball, MUST immediately call the players through, and then five minutes only is allowed to look for his ball.
d. Players must endeavour to complete each nine holes within two hours & fifteen minutes.
e. Remember your place in the field is directly behind the group in front of you, not in front of the group behind you.
f. Players are obliged to move off the putting green before marking their cards.
g. Players are obliged to pick up immediately if they are unable to score in stableford and par events.
h. Divot marks must be repaired at all times. Pitch marks on greens must be repaired and bunkers smoothed after disturbing.
i. All play, whether in competition or not, must be from the tees of the day. If there is no competition, play must be from the white markers for men and the red for ladies.
j. Should a player or marker be in doubt of the rule of golf or local rule applicable to a particular incident in the course of play, he must immediately upon returning to the clubhouse report the facts to the Captain, General Manager or a member of the Match Committee for a ruling. The card should not be signed until this ruling has been given.
k. All players in competition or social play must report to the proshop before teeing off.

4. VISITORS

a. Playing visitors shall not, without the sanction of the President, Captain or General Manager, be permitted to play on the course during Saturday competition.
b. A member may not, without the sanction of the President, Captain, or General Manager, be permitted to introduce more than one (1) visitor to designated competitions. A member must play in the same group as that visitor.
c. A member introducing a visitor or guest to the Club:—
(i)  Must sign the visitor into the Club by entering their name in the Visitors Book on arrival.
(ii) Should pay the visitors fee before commencing a game.
d. A member introducing a visitor shall be responsible for the conduct of the visitor both in the Clubhouse and on the course. Visitors must remain in the company of the member whilst in the Club.
e. A member shall not knowingly introduce as a visitor any person whose name has been expunged from the Register of Members of the Club, or, who has been refused admission to membership of the Club or any other Club.
f. For competition purposes, a visitor must be a member of a Club affiliated with the New South Wales Golf Association or similar interstate or overseas association affiliated with the controlling authority.

5. PRIORITY OF THE COURSE

a. Pairs, threesomes and foursomes shall have precedence over and be entitled to pass any other kind of match.  A single player has no standing and shall give way to a match of any kind.
b. Any match playing a whole round is entitled to pass a match playing a shorter round.
c. If a match or group fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match or group following to pass.

6. LOCAL RULES

a. Any member may use the course when it is not in use by competition fields or other bookings subject to membership entitlements.
b. On competition and championship days, no use of the course before the event is permitted for social play without the authority of any member of the Match Committee.
c. Existing Local Rules and Temporary Local Rules as deemed necessary from time to time will be listed on the Local Rules Board in front of the Golf Shop.
d. To use the course at any time covered by a Competition Timesheet, one must be entered in that competition.
e. Competition fields have priority until the last group has commenced their final nine holes.
f. Where a tie exists in competition for a Monthly Medal, a play-off will take place on the next Monthly Medal Day. Players in the play-off will use the handicap current on the day of play-off and the lowest nett score shall determine the winner.

7. CHAMPIONSHIPS

The following rules apply specifically, but not only, to championship events:—
a. Members should inform the General Manager or the Match Committee if, following qualification, they do not intend to compete in subsequent championship rounds.
b. In the event of a tie, a play-off shall be conducted over 18 holes on a date to be decided.
c. During championships, all play must take place at designated tee times, where allocated.
d. Grades for men shall be:—
A grade Up to 12 Handicap
B Grade 13-19 Handicap
C Grade 20 and over Handicap

8. TIME SHEETS

a. Saturday and Sunday timesheets are available from 6.00 p.m. on the Friday evening fourteen (14) days prior to the designated event.   Timesheets for Public Holiday competitions will be made available in a similar method to the Sunday sheets. Any one person may enter no more than four (4) names on any timesheet.

9. MOTORISED CARTS AND MOTOR BIKES

a. Carts and bikes must be driven on Cart Path at all times.   
b. Carts and bikes must not be driven or left within 10 metres of greens, tees and bunkers or cross orange lines were indicated.
c. Players using carts and bikes must maintain their normal place in the field and will have no special priority.
d. Any motorised cart or bike not owned by the club which is used within the boundaries of the Club must comply with specifications as laid down by the Board and may not be used without the written consent of the Board.
e. Carts (both club and private) may only be driven by a person holding a current drivers licence.

10. FEES

a. Membership fees in various categories may be made annually, half yearly or monthly. However, members who elect to pay by instalments are responsible for the payment of the whole of the subscription should they resign.
b. Any member who intends to resign from the Club shall signify their intention to do so in writing to the General Manager prior to 30th June, or shall remain liable for the subscription for the year.

11. COMPETITION CARDS

a. A card issued by the starter or other authorised person must be obtained before playing in any competition and the requested competition fee paid. No other card shall be recognised — all cards must be signed by the marker, countersigned by the player and placed in the prescribed receptacle immediately after completion of the round. All competition cards must be returned for handicap purposes.
b. When applicable all cards must be entered into the computer.

12. PERSONAL PROPERTY AND INSURANCE

a. The Club may not be liable for any loss or injury to the property or person of any member or visitor to the Club’s premises.
b. Golf clubs should not be left unattended outside the Clubhouse. Valuables should be locked away.
c. Members should report any incident involving damage or likely damage caused by a ball being hit into private property. This report should be made to the General Manager immediately after a round has been completed. The identity of the person who struck the ball is to be reported.
d. The security of the lockers and items contained therein is not the responsibility of the Club.

13. CONTROL OF CARS

a. Areas designated for Directors and others are to be kept vacant for their use.
b. No car shall be driven on the Club’s private roads in excess of a speed of 15kph, or such lesser speed as shall be indicated in particular areas.

14. GOLF BALLS

a. No member shall purchase golf balls on or in the precincts of the Club’s property from any other person than the Club’s Golf Shop staff.

15. NEW MEMBERS

a. It is the responsibility of the “proposer” and “seconder” immediately nominee is elected to membership to see that such new member is introduced to other members is advised of all the pertinent rules of the Club and above all, is sufficiently advanced in knowledge of the Rules of Golf to be competent to perform the duty of “marker” to a fellow competitor. Members should play with their nominee until that member is so equipped.

16. LOCKERS

a. The Board shall, where practicable, provide lockers for the use of members and charge such fee for the use thereof as shall, from time to time, be determined by the Board.

17. ADVERTISING

a. No pamphlet, advertisement or notice of any kind shall be exhibited in the Club without the permission of the Board.

18. RAFFLES

a. No canvassing for donations, raffles or subscriptions is allowed unless approved by the Board.

19. REFRESHMENTS

a. No member shall invite any employee other than an executive officer to partake of liquor or any other kind of refreshments on the Club premises.

20. COMPLAINTS

a. All complaints shall be made to the General Manager, and if so required by him shall be in writing. The General Manager shall take all necessary action to satisfy the complaints and, if necessary, refer the same to the Club’s Board of Directors.
b. No member shall give any direction to or reprimand any employee of the Club.

21. GENERAL

a. All Board Members and the General Manager shall administer the Rules of the Club at all times.    Members are reminded to observe the Rules of the Club at all times.
