In December the Campbelltown Golf Club and the Campbelltown Catholic Club sign a Memorandum of Understanding which outlined the details of the proposed amalgamation between the two clubs.
The Catholic Club see the amalgamation as a long term investment into the Golf Club and have written that into the MOU in the following clause.
The future direction of the Amalgamated Club will be as follows
(a) to promote and develop the facilities at the premises of the Catholic Club and at the premises (including the golfing facilities) of the Golf Club so that the Amalgamated Club becomes the club of choice for residents in the areas which the premises of both Clubs presentlyand potentially can service
(b) to improve the trading of the Golf Club premises so that those premises are financially viable without subsidy or financial support from the premises of the Catholic Club.
In the next couple of weeks all members will receive notice of the members meeting to approve the amalgamation and also the date of the information night to discuss any concerns you may have. In the meantime please refer to the FAQ page to the answers to some of your questions.
