The amalgamation between the Campbelltown Golf Club and the Campbelltown Catholic Club has now been approved by the members of both clubs. The Board's of both clubs would like to thank the members for their suppport.

The next step in the process is for the Campbelltown Council to officially approve the transfer of the Golf Club lease to the Catholic Club. Once that is complete the Casino and Gaming Authority must approve the amalgamation and then the Golf Club members will hold another meeting to officially dissolve the legal entity Campbelltown Golf Club Ltd.

This whole process can take up to six months. However, the Catholic club has agreed to begin changes following the approval by members. Plans will be drawn up for improvements to the members amenities and the pro shop. An upgrade to the gaming room will also take place.

Planning will also commence on the development of the 10 year masterplan that will include both clubhouse and golf course.

It is a very exciting time for both clubs and we look forward providing the much better facilities for all members.
