  • Campbelltown Kings of Golf NSW Metropolitan Pennant - 8 April 2018

Campbelltown Golf Club have proven themselves Kings of Division Four with a nail biting four matches to three win over Brighton Lakes.

The big crowd of Campbelltown supporters who were lining the final green erupted in cheers when Simon Kieth managed to hold on to win one up.

A relieved Team Manager Phil Higgins was proud of his charges.
“It’s been a great team effort, and all the boys put their head down and had a great season.
There is a couple of new guys in the team and they really stepped up to the mark.
It’s going to be a big one (celebration) on the way back. There will be a few cartons of beer in the bus."

"I've got to pay tribute to the members who turned up. There’s about 40 out here today. They are as much a part of the win as we have been,” Higgins added.
