Campbelltown Golf Club have proven themselves Kings of Division Four with a nail biting four matches to three win over Brighton Lakes on Sunday 8 April.
The big crowd of Campbelltown supporters who were lining the final green erupted in cheers when Simon Kieth managed to hold on to win one up.
A relieved Team Manager Phil Higgins was proud of his charges.
“It’s been a great team effort, and all the boys put their head down and had a great season.
There is a couple of new guys in the team and they really stepped up to the mark.
It’s going to be a big one (celebration) on the way back. There will be a few cartons of beer in the bus."
"I've got to pay tribute to the members who turned up. There’s about 40 out here today. They are as much a part of the win as we have been,” Higgins added.
