On Sunday 25 November, our Trainee Golf Professional at Campbelltown Golf Club, David Abbott, took to the course with a few local members for the days competition. It would be a record breaking day for David! He finished the round with an amazing score of 59, smashing his previous best score of eight under 62.
To put this fantastic score into perspective, there are only a handful of people in the world who have achieved a score of 59 - including touring professionals such as Australia's own Stuart Appleby! Davids magical round included 9 birdies and an eagle, and could have been one better if not for a penalty stroke from a wayward tee shot on the 16th.
