Hole 16

Old Dairy

Fortune favours the brave, not the case with this hole. Downhill and measuring only 319 metres, more birdies are made from laying up to 100m out than trying to drive the green. Laying up to a distance of 100m will allow the golfer to hit a fuller second shot thus imparting a lot more spin on the ball helping it grip a green that slopes severely from front to back. The green is well protected by bunkers. The hole runs parallel to the 9th hole and is another wonderful opportunity to take in the magnificent views of the golf course.
